You should look at the wine. Just look at it and sulk.

You can still do wine tours! Some wineries (Castello di Amorosa comes to mind) have sights to take in even if you don’t care about the wine itself. Speaking of sights, I’d suggest making the drive out there, tour or no tour - it’s a very scenic one! Also, the city of Napa itself has some fantastic food and interesting shops. Highly recommended.

As for SF itself, visit Alcatraz. The night tour is more fun, though the day tour is still worthwhile. You’ll also find the hidden Jalop gems on Alcatraz island if you explore enough!

Try the food at Boudin - it’s an affordable and satisfying staple in SF. Plus, the location along Fisherman’s Wharf has the actual bakery out on display.

Check out Golden Gate Park. It’s huge (an hour to walk across its width) and full of lots of interesting stuff to see, like the Academy of Sciences. That has an actual rainforest in a glass dome, among other things.

At the West end of Golden Gate Park is the Pacific coast itself - very pretty location, as you’d expect... I’d budget for a sunset there at least, if nothing else.

Ride the cable car and have a walk through the neighborhoods it takes you through. The typical hilly, urban SF cityscape you see in movies and online is there and it’s full of lots of cool stuff. Bonus points if you can find the classic Beetles, Fiats, and 911s hidden everywhere.

Don’t forget Lombard St (Drive it if you’ll have a car! It’s easier than it looks.) and Coit Tower - that one offers you 360-degree views of the entire city. Check out Union Square and Market St if you’re interested in a more downtown-ish vibe. You’ll also see their historical tram lines (separate from the cable cars) running through here.

I should add one more thing: since SF is only 7 square miles, practically all of the above is very close together.

Hope that helps :)

Sears Point is right off 37 near Napa, it’s worth seeing what’s going on. McGee Motorsport usually has a nice collection of vintage Trans-Am cars in the shop. The Exploratorium in SF is always fun.

There’s Anderson Valley too, worth the drive. They have a disc golf course on the premises too. 3rd Street is conveniently right around the corner from RR.

I live in SF, drive up the coast in marin through Stinson beach and go as far as you want. You can cut back east to the big highway and get home faster. So rent a fun car. I do that drive in my 240z pretty often. Point reyes is beautiful.

Since this is posted on oppo, wouldn’t you want to check out what’s happening at Sears Point Raceway but a half hour to 45 minutes North of the Bridge, since you be passing right by it on the way to Sonoma, if going that way. On your way back, just before the Bridge, stop at Sausalito. The view on the city from there is like no other. Good restaurants too...

And Laguna Seca Raceway near Monterey? If you were to head that way, go via Santa Cruz and don’t forget to visit Canepa’s unbelievable restoration place in Scotts Valley. In Monterey, the AQUARIUM is pretty unbelievable. As is Pebble Beach and Carmel. Since it’s June, California bays can be pretty foggy, that includes both SF Bay as well as Monterey Bay. So, bring a light sweater as late afternoon into evening can get outright chilly. If you were to spend time in the Monterey area, there are some quaint motels in Carmel Valley as well. ENJOY !!!
